Pay Only For What You Need, Only When You Need It
All small businesses need HR support but likely don't need that support all the time. Unlike traditional firms, we provide flexible pricing plans so that you pay only for the support you need, only when you need it.
1) Hourly Rate – Our rates are competitive to ensure cost is never a reason for you not to obtain the support or guidance you need.
Once you are a client at Cole James, the hourly rate is billable in 15-minute increments to keep your costs down and to make it easy and cost-effective to seek assistance on your HR issues.
2) Flat Fee – Designed for projects, such as developing handbooks, conducting training, or other needs where billing an hourly rate is not cost-effective for you.
PACKAGE OFFERS
• Complaince Review – We'll sit down with you and go over your basic HR requirements based on your company’s size, review your posters, assist you with your personnel files and I-9 forms, and leave you with peace of mind. ($125)
• Handbook Development – If you don’t have an employee handbook, how are employees supposed to know your rules and expectations? Sure, you can tell them, but when you fire them for violating a policy, what proof do you have that they knew the policy even existed? I guarantee you that the first thing the unemployment office, or an attorney, will want to see is the written policy the employee violated.
($250 for employers with up to 5 employees)
($500 for employers with 6 – 14 employees)
($750 for employers with 15 – 19 employees)
($1,000 for employers with 20 – 49 employees) ($1500 for employers with 50+ employees)
Handbook policies are legally reviewed and approved as part of the cost. Extensive changes may require additional review (at additional cost). Additionally, we will conduct on-site meetings with your employees to explain the handbook and key policies (fees apply).
(Prices are for the the text of the handbook that will be provided to you electronically for printing and distribution.)
• Handbook Review – If you already have an employee handbook, you need it reviewed and updated periodically. In fact, there are several new laws in Virginia that affect your handbook, so if yours wasn’t updated in 2007, you are likely behind.
($50 to review handbook and propose changes/updates)
($125 per hour to make changes/updates to existing handbook document)
